What are Credits?
Credits are the new way to use Claid. Instead of paying for specific tools or features, every action in Claid - like AI Photoshoot, AI Edit, or Video Generation - now costs a certain number of credits.
Why we introduced Credits
We switched to a credit-based model to make Claid simpler, more transparent, and flexible for everyone.
The old feature-based plans could feel confusing - so now, instead of different limits per tool, every action just has a clear credit cost.
This helps you:
- See exactly how your usage adds up
- Pay only for what you use
- Get fair value no matter which tools you prefer
How it works
Every Claid plan comes with a set number of credits each month. You use credits whenever you perform an operation and refresh automatically each billing cycle.

Quality tiers & resolution options
Some Claid operations now support multiple quality tiers, giving you more flexibility depending on whether you need standard output, higher detail, or ultra-high resolution results. Each tier has its own credit cost so you can choose the balance of quality and usage that fits your workflow.You’ll see these tiers directly in the editor whenever they’re available:
- Standard - the existing default quality (included in all plans).
- PRO - 2K resolution - a higher-clarity option ideal for detailed visuals or polished presentation assets, priced at 10 credits.
- Ultra - 4K resolution - our highest resolution for maximum sharpness and close-up detail, priced at 24 credits.
💡 Because higher resolutions require more computing power, PRO and Ultra tiers use more credits, and the exact credit cost is always shown before you generate an image. This helps you stay fully in control of your usage and budget.
Where these tiers are available
Quality tiers are currently supported in several visual-generation features:
AI Photoshoot
- Precise - available in Standard
- Creative - available in Standard, PRO (2K), and Ultra (4K)
- Inspiration - available in Standard, PRO (2K), and Ultra (4K)
AI Fashion
- Available in Standard, PRO (2K), and Ultra (4K)
AI Edit
- Available in Standard, PRO (2K), and Ultra (4K)
Other modes, such as Mockups and Backgrounds, currently remain in Standard quality.
Typical Credit costs
Below is a quick overview of how many credits different operations may use.
Some features offer multiple quality tiers (Standard, PRO 2K, Ultra 4K), which is why you’ll see a range:

💡 You can always check the latest credit costs directly inside your Claid account before running an operation.
During the transition
If you already had a Claid subscription, your account was automatically migrated. There’s no need to take any action - your new credits are already active and ready to use.
