Which 'Quality enhancement' operation to choose?

How to enhance and upscale images with Claid Studio?

Our quality enhancement features can handle a variety of use cases, ensuring the best image quality regardless of the device or circumstances in which it was captured

Once you're in your Claid's account, go to the Claid Studio Dashboard where you'll see the Enhance & Upscale tab:

Use our enhancement operations for:

user-generated content captured on your phone
professional shots taken with a digital camera
drawings or illustrations
product shots

Enhance

The Enhance & Upscale Suite allows you to enhance different types of images with just one click. Depending on the character of your design, you can choose between:

General - improves resolution by adding new pixels to low quality images (compressed, blurred, pixelated, etc.). Suitable for most use cases, photos taken with your cell phone or digital camera where significant restoration is needed

Places - designed for advanced restoration of low-quality images of people, nature and architecture taken with cell phones or digital cameras

People - best for close-up photos of people, enhancing facial details

Digital Art - perfect for drawings, anime, or AI-generated illustrations

Text - best for product photos where it is important to preserve label details

Undo the operation with a single click if the applied improvement is not satisfactory

Upscale

Depending on your needs, you can either scale up your projects by x2 or x4 with a single click, or define the width and height in the provided fields:

The output file size can be adjusted by specifying the values in percent or pixels. As soon as one of the dimensions is defined, the other is automatically adjusted.

If you need to crop or resize your designs to change the original aspect ratio, please use our Resize & Extend Suite.

💡 Enable the Decompress/Remove artefacts toggle to sharpen your image and remove compression artifacts
